If you’ve already signed up for the Endurance Doors Installer Network, or even just glanced around our website for a while, you’ll know we’re very proud of our composite door hardware. We’ve got a wide selection of handles, knockers and letter plates available and they’re an ideal way to make a few subtle changes to a door. This month, we have a new one to unveil.
We’re introducing the Lever Rose handle into our collection of stainless steel hardware. This latest addition makes a delightful finishing touch to new composite doors and as an installer, you’ll be able to recommend both Standard and Premium options to your customers.
Stainless Steel Front Door Accessories
The Lever Rose offers a solution to all homeowners who want a front door with a slam-shut locking mechanism but with a little more flair on the internal side. The stainless steel handle is installed alongside a regular thumb turn, giving homeowners a greater sense of control when they open their doors from the inside.
It’s compatible with everything in our Classic, Urban, Country and Avantal collections and can even be retrofitted onto existing Endurance Doors, providing they have an AV2 or AV3 standard mechanism attached. The Premium choice is available in both classic stainless steel or matte black finishes and is suited to our existing stainless steel pull bar range. It’s the perfect finishing touch and lets customers add a bit of their personality to the door’s design.
Explaining The Locking Mechanism
Like all our other products, the Lever Rose handle was developed to meet modern safety requirements. It’s engineered to keep homes secure and give complete peace of mind, while also ensuring easy access for the homeowner. As it’s only installed on the inside surface, the handle itself is inaccessible from outdoors and only the lock is visible.
The door is unlocked externally by turning a key in the cylinder, but it’s slightly different from the internal side. No key is required, and depressing the lever will release all the hooks in the locking mechanism. Using the handle reduces the force required to open the door, making for a quick and painless transition between indoors and out. A thumb turn is still included but is used solely for deadbolting the door once it's been slammed shut.
Our new Lever Rose handle is available to order now. If you have any customers looking to add an extra touch to the internal side of their new composite door, it’s the ideal choice. You can find the full specification sheets and installation guides in our technical hub and of course, you’re welcome to contact us for more information.
