Whether you’re a newcomer to the Endurance installer network or you’ve been with us for years, you’ll have access to a wide range of innovative products. We’re extremely proud of our composite door collections and hardware, but today we wanted to spotlight one thing in particular; the QuadHook + Touchkey.

This device is a relatively new addition to the Endurance Doors catalogue, but we’ve already received some glowing feedback. Homeowners and installers alike have embraced it with full enthusiasm. If you’ve not encountered it yet, here’s what it can add to your next composite door installation project.

Keyless Entry For Composite Doors

The QuadHook + Touchkey was designed with convenience in mind. The standard front door key only has one function and this also means it’s a single point of failure. If you’ve ever run home in a heavy storm only to realise you’ve left your front door key in the office, you’ll understand how frustrating it can be. With the QuadHook + Touchkey though, this won’t be a problem. You wouldn’t have to trudge back to work in the wind and rain, you could still get into the house.

This new device has all the mechanical hardware of a regular door key but also includes world-renowned smart technology. It gives homeowners four different ways to access their homes and drastically reduces the chances of being locked out. And it does so without compromising on security.

How It Works

We’ve already mentioned that the Touchkey can be used the same way as a regular key, but what are those other three entry methods? Well, for starters it comes with fingerprint recognition software. It can store up to fifty separate fingerprints in its database, so your family and trusted friends will be able to get in by simply pressing their finger on the scanner. It’s entirely waterproof so droplets of rain won’t affect the operation, and because the prints are encrypted as code instead of images, they can’t be easily replicated or hacked.

Homeowners will also be able to use voice commands to get in. The QuadHook + Touchkey is compatible with Siri for iPhone and setting it up is relatively simple. This means your customers can open the door just by saying the right phrase. Imagine getting home with bags of groceries in your hands and you’ll get some idea of how useful this is.

And finally, it lets people grant temporary access via the Smart Home App. In other words, if your customers find themselves in a scenario where they have to let in a plumber, electrician or other workman into the house, they no longer have to take a day off work to let them in. They can open the door remotely, even if they’re miles away.

All these methods make getting into the home a breeze. The QuadHook + Touchkey is a versatile and user-friendly device, so it’s well worth recommending to your customers. They’ll have four different ways to get through their front doors and can easily add or remove users, as well as track who is coming or going. They can even program it so they receive alerts if there are any attempted break-ins.

When we first saw it in action, we were hugely impressed. We can confidently say that this is the future of door entry but if you’re still not convinced, you’re welcome to contact us. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. And if you haven’t already done so, register as an installer; the QuadHook + Touchkey is just one of many great products you’ll have access to.
