Here at Endurance Doors we are committed to the environment. Our core mission is to provide high quality, secure doors while minimising our environmental impact.
We believe that confronting climate change can’t wait any longer, so neither can we.
For the continued growth and long term success of our business and the planet, we are moving towards our goal of being a carbon-neutral business by 2030.
This blog will touch upon our sustainable initiatives and emphasise our commitment to looking after our planet.

Sustainable Materials At The Core
100% Traceable Wood
We use 100% traceable wood from Northern forests. Each tree felled for our production is also replaced with 4 seedlings making it sustainably managed.
Kerto Core & Carbon Sinks
Our Kerto Core composite doors act as carbon sinks storing approximately one tonne of CO2 in every one-meter-cubed.
The production of our Kerto LVL solid core from the forest floor to the mill is also carbon negative.
Manufacturing With A Conscience
Zero-Waste to Landfill
0% of our production waste is sent to landfill and we manage an extensive recycling programme throughout our manufacturing process. This process covers packaging, polystyrene, cardboard, uPVC, timber, paper, aluminium and steel.
With our site wide waste management goals, everyone at Endurance works to produce as little waste as possible everyday to make each small change make a bigger difference.
Renewable Energy
Back in 2022, we invested £300,000 into installing 500 solar panels on the roof of our factory in Brigg, North Lincolnshire.
These solar panels built on the existing focus here at Endurance Doors of only using renewable electricity throughout our production process.

Beyond The Factory Walls
Carbon Neutral Britain Partnership
Our Carbon Neutral Britain partnership has been renewed for 2025 of which it is one of the UK’s leading Carbon Offset Initiatives. Our partnership helps British individuals and businesses make an impact on climate change.
We also make every effort to offset our carbon emissions to maintain our Carbon Neutral status and we have supported CNB projects in areas such as Chile and Mongolia.
Our Current Sustainable Initiatives
We are committed to sustainable practices that go beyond our products. We believe that our commitment to sustainability extends to our planet, and so we have reached a significant milestone in our journey towards a greener future with our entire road-based sales team being transferred to electric vehicles.
