ENDURANCE DOORS ‘MY NEW DOOR’ COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Basics

1. In our ‘My New Door’ competition we are looking for a creative photo of your new Endurance Door.

2. There will be one winner in each month who will win £20 in M&S vouchers.

3. We will display the best entries on our Facebook page, Twitter and at endurancedoors.co.uk.

4. These Terms & Conditions govern the ‘My New Door’ competition. Read them carefully: by entering the competition, you are agreeing to them.

The Competition

1. You can enter the competition by tweeting an original digital photo to @endurancedoors, along with the hashtag #mynewdoor

2. Each competition entrant must: a. be a United Kingdom resident; b. be at least 16 years of age; c. send their entry before the designated closing date each month.

3. Only one entry per person per month is allowed. In submitting an entry, you must include all the details which you are requested to provide. Email entrant’s may be sent occasional marketing emails which they are at liberty to opt-out at any time.

4. There will be one winner of the competition per month.

5. The winners will be selected by a judge from Endurance Doors or an associated party.

6. The competition winners will be notified that they have won via their method of entry, and their name will be used on Endurance Doors’ social media pages and website.

7. If any winner does not accept his/her winner status by contacting Endurance Doors by email within a period or 3 months, he/she will forfeit the prize.

The Prizes

1. The winner will receive a £20 M&S voucher which will be delivered by post to their preferred address.

2. On the occasion that it is not possible to award an M&S voucher, we will offer a suitable alternative prize.

Use of photo entries

1. As well as appearing on the Endurance Doors Facebook and Twitter pages, entries may also be featured: a. on the Endurance Doors website (endurancedoors.co.uk) b. on any other Endurance doors and Rocal social media presences including in print and online press reports

2. We may modify winning photos in connection with the purposes mentioned above. This may include, but is not limited to: a. cropping, size changing, format conversion, detail enhancement and brightness enhancement.

3. We may also add a title and/or other descriptors of our choosing to winning photos.

4. You authorise us, should we wish, to use the name or other identifier under which you submit your winning photo in conjunction with the use we make of that winning photo. If you would prefer that we do not do so, or would prefer an alternative name or identifier to be used, then you should let us know at time and method of entry.

Content of photos

1. By submitting a photo as an entry in our competition, you undertake that: a. it is your original work; b. you are the exclusive owner of any copyright in it; c. it is not a copy of any other work (or any part of another work); d. it conforms with our Content Rules (see below); e. anyone depicted in it has consented (or, where the person depicted is a minor, that minor’s parent/guardian has consented) to that depiction, and to the usage of the photo referred to in these Terms & Conditions; and f. the entrant, and everyone else involved with the photo, has given up any right to object to the uses which we make of your photo under these Terms & Conditions.

2. The Content Rules for photos are that they must conform to the ‘’My New Door’ brief for which they are submitted, and must not: a. infringe anyone’s copyright; b. infringe any other rights, such as a trade mark, of any person or entity or a duty owed to any person or entity, such as a duty of confidentiality; c. contravene, or advocate or promote the breach of, any applicable law; d. include anything that is false, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, abusive, threatening or defamatory, or that might cause needless annoyance, inconvenience or distress to any person; e. include any material containing personally identifying information about another person, such as their real name, address, phone number, or email address, except with the written approval of that person; f. contain material which is pornographic, obscene, indecent or offensive, which promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or that may incite hatred or violence against any person or group; or g. harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any person.

3. You agree to indemnify Endurance Doors against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise in connection with any breach of the clauses above.

4. By submitting a photo as an entry in our ‘My New Door’ photo competition, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute and communicate to the public that photo for the purposes referred to in these Terms & Conditions.

General

1. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of such automated devices or programs in connection with the submission of an entry will cause disqualification.

2. There are no cash alternatives to the prize or anything awarded or paid-for in connection with our ‘My New Door’ photo competition.

3. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

4. Endurance Doors may, without notice, change information referred to in these Terms & Conditions where, in discretion, such a change is reasonably necessary.

5. Our competitions are not open to employees of Endurance Doors or its affiliated companies, their families or agents, or to anyone professionally connected with the competition.

6. The promoter of the ‘My New Door’ photo competition is Rocal, whose registered office is: Atherton Way, Ancholme Business Park, Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 8AR (“Endurance Doors”, “we” and “us”).

7. Entry into the competition signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

8. By entering the competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes stated in these Terms & Conditions any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

9. If any part of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and enforceable.

10. Our failure to act with respect to a breach of these Terms & Conditions does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.

11. The headings in these Terms & Conditions are for ease of reference only and do not affect the interpretation or construction of these Terms & Conditions.

12. You and we each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions.

13. These Terms & Conditions and the ‘My New Door’ photo competition are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
