A partnership between Endurance and Scotland’s leading provider of double-glazed windows and doors, CR Smith, is set to mark its second anniversary and follows 24 months that have seen the Endurance engineered timber door installed across a vast range of Scottish homes.
Promoted and sold to CR Smith retail customers in Scotland as TimberLuxe, the Endurance range of stylish looks is creating lasting first impressions on heritage homes and contemporary new builds. The composite door’s energy-efficient design and low maintenance features have particularly impressed Scottish homeowners, whose homes must withstand all weather conditions.
To date, CR Smith has installed more than 2,000 Endurance doors, from as far North as Edderton near Inverness to Dumfries in the South. The most popular design requested is the Etna, and by far the most ordered external colour is anthracite grey.
Kevin Eadie, CR Smith Chief Executive, explained that providing a beautiful, high-quality product is at the core of the company’s success. With over 50 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, and installing windows and doors specifically for Scottish homes, CR Smith has established itself as the most trusted brand for home improvements North of the border.
He said, “In Endurance, we have found a partner and a product that can work for the diverse range of Scottish architecture, withstand our changeable weather and help homeowners bring down energy bills. A home’s front (and back) door is so important. It creates an impression, be it grand or welcoming, but it must also be secure and perform to the highest standards of thermal efficiency. Over the past two years, the Endurance composite door has become one of our most popular products.”
